Created in September 2018 as part of Foyle O-Bon’s community outreach programme, Irodori taiko is a group of fabulous and dedicated LGBTQ+ teens working with Fiona Umetsu, Artistic Director Foyle O-Bon and founder of Ibuki Taiko. 

 Irodori means a harmony of colours and this team is exploring using taiko drumming as a means to express yourself, to be seen and heard, to own your voice and to share even more #taikolove.

 Irodori Taiko is special for its incorporation of youth development practices with taiko!
